Delaware Consulting knows the challenges the textile industry faces. More than ever, it is crucial for you to rely on an IT solution that manages your business processes and streamlines your activities. After all, planning accurately will allow you to improve your services and cut costs.
That’s why we have created SMART-Textile, a total solution that supports you in every step of your purchasing, sales, manufacturing and logistic processes. It is an integrated package that combines the power and industry-specific functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX with an extensive set of tools, based on many years’ experience in the textile industry:
Product management: a question and answer template will help you automatically generate the parts list and the process route of the products to be manufactured, such as textiles, knitted fabrics, etc. Thanks to a series of predefined rules, certain combinations of quality, color, finishing, etc. can already be excluded.
Sample management: before the manufacturing process, a series of tests have to be carried out. Sample management demands a specific process for input, production and final treatment in the warehouse.
Graphical planning board: this tool helps the production planner efficiently plan production orders for textiles (woven, knitted, non-woven), by visualizing the process. The tool provides real-time support, to prevent errors, and includes a multi-level planning (order in order) feature, e.g. for the production planning of textiles on warp beams.
MES shop-floor: many textile plants rely on shop-floor automation software. The MES shop-floor feature allows integration of the MES data in real time or online (bi-directional) into the ERP system. In this way, the entire production process can be monitored, from the creation of the fabric through to finishing and packaging.
Thanks to the preconfigured processes, Delaware Consulting can ensure a smooth implementation, at an affordable cost. Moreover, the familiar Microsoft user interface is a rock-solid guarantee for the software’s user-friendliness.
