SAP Process Integration (PI)

SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (PI) enables you to manage end-to-end process integration using a standards-based, service-oriented architecture (SOA) infrastructure. SAP NetWeaver PI provides the technical foundation for SOA and delivers:

• Enterprise Services Repository : a central location in which enterprise services are modeled and where metadata is stored
• Enterprise services bus: enables direct communication between a provider application and a consumer application
• Pre-delivered integration scenario: pre-built integration scenarios across 24 industries

Delaware Consulting was one of the first believers in the SAP XI/PI module. In 2005 we started the first round of implementations. We currently have over 60 SAP PI project references. We have come to realize that SAP PI will be the cornerstone for SAP’s SOA platform, where the ES Repository will be indispensable.

• Monitor
  Delaware Consulting has been involved with SAP XI/PI implementations from the start. When we realized the standard SAP monitor could not fully meet all our customers’ functional requirements, we decided to create a new monitor, with broader-based functionality. Based on Adobe Flex, we have now developed an end-user version of this monitor, aimed at enabling different, targeted searches.

• Industry Standards
  Delaware Consulting has extensive experience of using the main industry standards, including Papinet, RosettaNet, CIDX, VDA, EDIFACT and ANSI X12, etc. and has built up a lot of in-house knowledge on B2B communications, such as CHEP and PLDA. Besides that, we have developed our own working tools for realizing complex integration projects. We have our own unique way of modeling these integration projects, which helps customers find a perfect match between business and IT.
